Makai poha/pauva is a fast moving item in namkeen products like chevda, chavanu etc.

 

The normal process for making makai poha is:-

  1. GRINDING RAW MAKAI/CORN SEEDS

  2. GRADING SEEDS

  3. COOKING 

  4. FLAKING PROCESS

  5. DRYING

  6. GRADING POHA (BY PRODUCT CATTLE FEED/MAMRI)

  7. PACKAGING (READY TO FRY)

Drying of flaked Makai Flakes/Makka Poha/Makai Pauwa/Corn Flakes

Typical moisture content:- 20-25%

​

Production capacity(/Dryer) :- 300 kg/hr to 3000 kg/hr finished product

Boiler required:- HWG/TFH/STEAM BOILER(Compatible to all)

  • CORN FLAKES SEED DRYER

Drying of cooked corn seeds before flaking and roasting process in making of corn flakes breakfast cereal 

​

Typical moisture content:- 20-25%

Moisture content to be removed:- 8-10%

​
